Just A Comment on The Economy and My Hometown
I don’t know how much more my litte town can handle. The flood in June devastated so many people. Streets full of houses stand empty because people couldn’t afford to pay their mortgage, rent on a new place while fixing their homes and the cost of completely gutting and redoing everything. Other streets not flooded have homes on each block with orange reposession stickers in the windows. Right now the only ones prospering are the commercial collection agencies. It’s very sad to see, especially since I’ve lived here all my life.
