as usual……….
I did no art yesterday. I had all these huge plans to get the house cleaned to perfection and work on some art projects. Nope, none, zip. Instead I went to yard sales to see if I could find any hidden treasure to resell on ebay and I finished putting texture on the dining room wall. I did a couple loads of laundry, too; and gathered up a couple bags of useless stuff to haul to the curb. That counts as house cleaning, doesn’t it?
Today will be a waste. I have to be at Warren Performing Arts Center at 7a.m. to watch my daughter compete in a regional dance competition. She goes on at 8a the first time and the last time is 5:25p. I’ll be there all day and most of the evening. No art for the wicked.
I must find a way to work more art time into this busy schedule I have. Son has karate, guitar, soccer. Daughter has four nights of dance class, cheerleading practice has started again and games in August, recital in two weeks, national competition in three. At least I’ll get a month’s break from mid June to Mid July. Maybe I’ll be moving into a new building then. One with a separate space for my business and my living area. The one I want has a workshop and a room that would be an awesom library and office. I can dream, can’t I? I’m definintely going to try for it though. Putting together a business plan right now, actually.
