Pouring Candles
Candles are my big holiday seller and it’s time again to go into production mode. I haven’t made any in large quantities for a couple of years because it seems like I always get pneumonia a month or so later.
Since I’ve been spending so much time in hospitals with my son lately, I got a “brilliant” idea (even if I do say so myself). I borrowed a few medical supplies, in the form of surgical masks that were sitting in the xray waiting room for people there for tests who had a cough.
I’m going to try wearing one when I pour the more flowery fragrances, since those are the ones that I can feel irritating my throat and lungs. I figure as much as this is costing us, the least I could get out of it is a couple of masks!
